Our Projects
Stanchester Academy, Stoke-sub-Hamdon
The installation of solar panels at Stanchester Academy was completed in August 2016 and the system was commissioned by the end of September 2016. Thereby, achieving the higher Feed In Tariff (FIT) applicable at that time. The final design installed 105KW of solar panels on 3 roofs of the school. For various reasons, OFGEM did not approve the installation until springtime 2017, after which we installed an export meter in June 2017. The solar array has performed well regularly producing around 100,000KWh or 100MWh of electricity per year, of which the academy uses at least 70%.
